This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Anantibody specific for human VEGF R2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any human VEGF R2 present
is bound by the immobilized antibody. After washing away any unbound substances, a biotinylated detect antibody specific for human VEGF R2 is pipetted into the wells. After washing away any unbound substances, Streptavidin-HRP is pipetted intothewells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, TMB substrate(Chromogenic agent) is added to the wells and color develops in proportion totheamount of human VEGF R2 bound in the initial step. The color development isstopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
